We installed a shoreline power connection and galvanic isolator on a narrowboat to allow safe connection to marina and shore-based electrical supplies. The shoreline system provides a reliable external power source for the vessel’s onboard electrical systems while moored.

We fitted a galvanic isolator within the shore power circuit to protect the boat’s metal hull and underwater components from galvanic corrosion caused by stray electrical currents commonly found in marina environments.

This installation ensures safe and compliant operation of the shore power system. It also improves protection of the vessel’s structural components and allows the customer to make full use of shore-based electrical services while berthed.
